Hollywood Camera Operator Comes to ISU
Mark Van Loon worked in Hollywood for 20 years as a camera operator on many major films including Windtalkers, The Firm, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and many more.
On Monday Oct. 25, Van Loon will visit the MC 3300 class and conduct a workshop on lighting for film. The workshop is open to all Mass Communication Students, but will be of most interest to those in the TV Broadcasting sequence.
Van Loon attended college at Middle Tennessee State University, graduating in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in Film & Television. Currently he lives in Montana after retiring from Hollywood in 2005.
